Bio

I am a creative person and over the years of raising a family and making a living, put my "artist" self in last place - in the last 3 years, she has returned and now my life revolves around creating.
I can laughingly say I am nurturing my muse in mid life - much as I have nurtured my family through the yrs.
I am a proud member of the groups ZNE, ECS and Artella, have been honored by being published in both magazine and book articles, and love to challenge myself with new contests.
I truly try and utilize "finds" and recycle or repurpose items in my art - whether it be a scrap of wood, rusty keys,
antique lace, or a milk bottle cap!

I opened a sister shop on Etsy this year; rhinestonesnrust, which features vintage glass, pottery, housewares, and paper ephemera - along with my eclectic taste in other vintage pieces.

My husband is an avid artifact collector and woodworker; and together we create one of a kind and custom furniture and decor pieces. Occasionally you may find a jointly created piece listed.

We have a blended family that includes 6 children and currently 6 grandchildren. My grandchildren tell me I am "silly"; and I have every intention of remaining young and being the silly Grandma!
