Jessamyn Sommers is a mixed media and textile artist, working from a studio in Ballinacurra, Co. Cork, Ireland.

Her work is inspired by Irish heritage, and Irish country life. Her favourite materials are wool, lace, and paper. She is fascinated by vintage sewing paraphenalia, catholic iconography, and old photographs.

Jessamyn owns a flower shop, Bloomsday Flowers, in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. She lives with her husband and baby in nearby Cloyne.
