Bio

Well, what's to say? I'm Nick Bajzek (say it like Bay-zeck), currently in my early 20s and a 2006 graduate of Elmhurst College. I started stuntpilot studios as a way to get my work out there--trying to do it on my own was proving too difficult--as well as to motivate me to keep on taking pictures. I sort of lost contact with that bit of my life during my college years, so getting back into it has been like a deep, cool breath of fresh air.

I have been a photographer ever since Brother Peter Hammond at St. Joseph High School (my alma mater) approached me and asked if I'd like to be on the Yearbook staff. So, for the next four years I took every.single.picture in my high school yearbooks. Talk about being a fly on the wall!

I have been working with digital photography since the field's infancy in the mid 1990s (first shot with a 1-MP Mavica). I'm now shooting with easily the best camera I've ever owned: a Nikon D40 w/18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses.
