i guess sew bliss sew was born in Aug of 2003 when I couldn't find a suitable birthday present for a friend. I wanted it to be personal, yet functional. A light bulb blinked on over my head and I grabbed a fairly new abandoned t-shirt out of my draw and my grandmother's 1952 singer. a bicycle riding along a horizon line running the circumference of the waist was the perfect gift. So, that's what each of my friends received as a birthday present for the next year or so. Then i guess word got out and i started getting requests, and asked to enter local craft fairs, and i haven't looked back since. I love reworking, reusing, recycling discarded garments to make new ones. we all deserve a second chance...
