I have been making jewelery now for about twenty years, and I can't imagine doing anything else. I am self taught, from a very young age I started out basically been stealing moms' old costume stuff and reworking it into my own designs. Eventually I moved up to sterling silver and semi-precious stone beads, and collaborations with my husband, Charles, a silversmith, whose is also mostly self taught. I truly enjoy the process of learning new techniques and the determination required to see something new and to try to figure out how it's done. I create truly original jewelry, as individual as the person who wears it.
