Hi!

The name's Vy (pronounced "Vee"). I live in Southern California and I've got to say - I would stay here the rest of my life if I could. The beautiful climate and beaches are so inspiring!

Some people wonder what in the world my Etsy username means. It's not pronounced "Ike banana" or "Icky banana" (although the latter one is cute!) The actual pronunciation of my username is "E-K banana" - a combination of Ikebana (flower arranging) and well... banana. xD It's always brought to mind a Zen banana arrangement... which is odd enough on it's own without my help!

I am also known as HanaClayWorks on DeviantArt. Contrary to popular belief, the name isn't based on my actual name but rather the Japanese word for flower (hana). :) I LOVE flowers and most of my creations are based on the most beautiful parts of a plant! However, if you call me "Hana," I'll still respond!

I've been working with clay since 2006 and although I'm not as good as others, I am always looking to improve! I'm also an avid learner of jewelry-making techniques because earrings are my other obsession. ;)

I send everything first class with delivery confirmation unless you request otherwise. I do not use a padded envelope - all my pieces come in boxes so that is why I charge $2.50 for the shipping. All items come inside a small bon-bon box, handmade by myself.

If you need the item sooner than first class mail can deliver it (2-3 days for those in California and 3-4 days for everyone else in the U.S.), please let me know! However additional shipping charges may apply and I will never overcharge you for shipping! Any and all charges for shipping over $1 will be refunded if you request it. :)
Free shipping or a free gift (not available in my store) is offered to those orders that are $50 and above, except wholesale orders. For orders $65 and above, you can get BOTH free shipping AND the free gift!

For those of you interested in purchasing my items for retail sale, here is the pricing breakdown:
- 10-20 items: 20% off
- 21-35 items: 30% off
- 36-49 items: 40% off
- 50+ items: 50% off
The number of items can be from different pieces, but I do have the requirement that you order at least 10 of each piece. So, if you wanted to order 10 pieces of item A, 10 pieces of item B, and 20 pieces of item C, the discount is 40%. If there are further questions, please contact me via email or send me a convo on Etsy.
Please be advised that all the pieces are made to order - I will give you a quote of how long it takes to make the items that you order.
