Welcome to my store.

At Gleaming Beads, I refuse to compromise quality for sales. I opened this store because I am always in search of beads and found it impossible to find smaller quantities of good quality gems and stones. It seems I always needed to buy way more than I needed for a price I never wanted to pay. I'm assuming that there are many, many others out there with the same issue. So, in response I'm opening this store to provide small quantity good quality gems and stones at a reasonable price.

ABOUT ME: I'm a mother of two, a daughter 14, and a son 5. My husband and I are raising our family in Upstate New York. I work full time during the day for a wonderful company here in Rochester.


I am always open to questions and suggestions so feel free to e-mail me if need be.

I work hard to ensure customer satisfaction so if you are ever unhappy for any reason please contact me immediately so I can rectify the situation.

I will do my best to list my items as clearly and accurately as possible. Emailing me with questions before purchase can help ensure satisfaction.

Purchases are shipped via the USPS. If you need priority or express shipping please contact me first to ensure that I can accommidate your request and provide you with a shipping quote.

International Shipping Disclaimer: - I ship internationally via the USPS. Yes my international shipping charges are low but understand that there is no tracking method at that price. I can and will ship via international express if specifically requested and you will have to wait for a revised invoice showing adjusted shipping charges of $25 (I apologize but that is the actual cost) If you elect not to ship express I am NOT responsible for items lost in the mail and no refund will be given. I do however keep all of my postal reciepts so I can prove the item was shipped. Please contact me with questions BEFORE purchase. Also, if these items are restricted through customs in your country you are assuming the risk of me shipping there. Please be aware of your customs restrictions as no refund will be given for items confiscated by customs.

SHIPPING: I try to mail every item within 1-3 days of payment received. I use the USPS and I do mail using delivery confirmation which allows me to track items. Once an item is mailed I have no control over what the post office does. If your concerned about a package, please contact me, BEFORE leaving negative feedback. Also, I live in Upstate New York, during the winter months, and unfortunetly for me sometimes early spring, we are subject to incliment weather. If such a weather event it occurring this can delay shipment by me or the post office. If you think this may be affecting a package...please contact me. I do my best to keep everyone happy and I'm always willing to do what I can to make things right. Thank you!


INVOICES: I do not include invoices in my package for a couple of reasons. First and formost it keeps shipping costs low because I do not have to charge for paper and ink. Secondly, because invoice information is available through Etsy and Paypal it makes sense to save the trees not to mention the cost.
