Bio

I started in clay about three years ago, first hand-building sculpture, then I learned to center and throw. I've always been able to do artistic things, but just recently, within the last five years, I got back into it. I had an instant affinity for clay, and sculpting. My first priority is graduate school, and learning to teach at the collegiate level.

My inspiration comes from all the profound things I observed growing up in Hawaii. My idea of beauty started there, with the green mountains, the female form, tropical plants and flowers, and the deep blue ocean. I live on the mainland, but my soul will always reside on the island.
