Bio

I'm sitting in my little, isolated, one room cabin/studio tucked under towering fir, and cedar trees writing these words to you. I can hear the coyotes yipping in the valley, and the rain splattering on my tin roof. My name is Sandra Kirk, and my cabin is on the edge of the Olympic National Rainforest in Chimacum, Washington.

My jewelry is hand made by me, using tried and true traditional methods. As a child in rural Oregon in the 1950's my father, a logger (lumberjack) taught me many skills from welding to the use of all kinds of tools. Many of those skills serve me well in my sculpture work, and working with sterling silver.

Inspiration for my jewelry comes from my love of nature, history, folklore, art, and my own personal remembrances.

I stand behind my jewelry. When you buy one of my pieces, you can be assured it is made to last for years to come.

Please feel free to convo me anytime.
