Bio

ColorJoy LynnH is Lynn DT Hershberger of Lansing, Michigan, USA. She considers her artistic medium to be color, whether it be knitting, handpainted fibers, printmaking, polymer clay or embellishing with paints.

LynnH has a sock design, "Hot Waves," included in the book "Joy of Sox," from Lark Books/2009. She also had five sock patterns published in the former "Heels and Toes Gazette" and has been self-publishing since 2003.

She has been an instructor for over a decade (the Midwest, East Coast and Texas). Her patterns show this training background, with clear instructions and as many photos as are necessary to get you on your way.

In the small photo of Lynn here, she is standing next to the self-portrait she knit using 11 different colors of yarn and 10,374 stitches of intarsia. She does not plan to knit another one!

LynnH travels the USA teaching knitting and polymer clay... and she also travels to sing with her husband Brian, in the retro-1920's duo The Fabulous Heftones.
