babyannequilts's Profile
Bio
My name is Heather, I have an art history degree, and I began quilting in 2005. My initial attraction to quilting was the craft's historical appeal. Not only does the craft have a rich history on its own, but each individual quilt has its own story to tell. Quilts have historically been made to mark significant occasions such as births and weddings, making them cherished family heirlooms.
I love the idea that I am not just creating something beautiful to look at, but also something to be used, something that can become part of a family's history. My hope is that the quilts I make will be used and loved and then passed down through generations to inspire memories.
Please visit my blog...I'd love to see you there!
