I am a married SAHM of 2 kids-my daughter is Aspergers/ADHD/SI disorder and my son is developmentally & physically disabled & has many special needs. These challenges and a love of sewing have brought me to selling the many home sewn items I make. I am continually looking to create items for those with special needs and love to get input from others! Any ideas or needs please let me know. I create for all ages and abilities.
I am the mom of a NICU grad (78 long days) and have decided that our littlest ones need more options! They get so lost in a sea of isolettes and warmers. Each baby is precious and should stand out among the others so I am now adding clothing specially made for the special care nursery. Each of these items will be for preemies and will go as small as 1 1/2 pounds. If you need a specific size or have a larger NICU/PICU child please let me know. I will be happy to make something to fit.

All of my items are handcrafted with love. Quality matters to me so I use good fabrics and put a great deal of myself in each item I create. It's important that your special person feels the same love mine does.

I'd love to create for something unique for you and show you what good quality & craftmanship is really about! You'll never want mass produced again.

I recycle shipping boxes/packaging as much as possible. This saves both of us money and does nice things for the world our children are inheriting.

Care and Use Instructions for weighted blankets

Please remember that weighted items require supervision. Once purchased the proper use of this product is the buyers responsibility. I am not responsible for misuse or injury resulting from this item. If you are unsure of how to properly use this please consult the therapist that helped you with the order. They are very knowledgeable and willing to help you get the best results from weighted items!

The blankets are machine washable in cold on the gentle cycle. It is best to lay them flat (on sweater racks or similar for best air circulation) to dry. They are filled with hypoallergenic polypellets.

CLOTHING ITEMS:

ALL clothing items are standard fabrics-they have NOT been treated to be flame retardant. Please use care around any flame or flammable items. Many of us choose not to have flame retardant chemicals in our kids clothing so we must be extra careful near flames. Keep children well away frome open flames-even small candles can catch clothing on fire. We want our little ones happy and healthy!

*WASHING/DRYING*

I recommend washing all clothing on cold and prefer gently cycles for preemie items. Tumble dry on low. This will give your garments the longest life.
