Thank you so very much for having a look around my shop! It’s extremely flattering that you took the time to read my profile, thank you!

I have always loved crystals, minerals, and natural stones. Over the years I have built a nice little collection and I love to take them out and gaze at them. Sometimes I even put one or two in my pocket to carry around throughout the day, and I guess that made me start looking for ways to make them more portable, which led me right to my new passion of making natural gemstone jewelry :)

My studio workspace is a little extra bedroom in my apartment near the eastern shore of beautiful Lake Champlain, here in Burlington Vermont. I moved here a few years ago after visiting some friends who lived up in Cambridge. I guess I just couldn't get enough of the big green open spaces and trees and small-town feel. In the warmer months I loving going on lots of drives and walks, seeking out all the little farmers markets, country gift shops, craft fairs and art fairs I can find. In the colder months I love curling up with a good book by a window so I can watch the huge snowflakes fall. And of course, I'm always playing with pretty sparkling stones and thinking of new ways to put them together.

There is something so special about creating something from my imagination with my own two hands that goes on to become a part of someone else's life. I really love thinking that maybe right now there could be someone walking their dog or making dinner or driving to work, all while wearing something I actually made. It blows my mind, I love it!

By the way, if you see something in my Sold items or my Flickr page that you wish you had seen first, please feel welcome to contact me to see if it can be remade. I'm also open to special order requests of all kinds such as special bridal and wedding jewelry, sets for bridesmaids, special gifts, or anything you might be searching for. If I don’t have the stone you want I will do my best to find it for you!

♦ Details for Custom Design Projects
I love receiving custom order requests so please don’t hesitate to contact me! The best way to begin is to tell me the design and stones you're looking for, but if you’re not quite sure yet that’s no problem! Just take a look in my shop (sold or current items), and/or my Flickr page for other designs and stones. Feel welcome to send me drawings or links to anything you liked, or contact me and we'll work on designing something together. I am totally comfortable discussing things by email or on the phone, and I am not shy about receiving lots of emails so please feel really welcome to communicate as much as you like!! I always say lots and lots of communication is way better than too little!!!

When we agree on the design I will create a reserved listing for you here in my shop. Once the purchase is complete and your payment clears I will begin working on your project. Half of the payment is non-refundable if you change your mind or return your order. This nonrefundable deposit helps me pay for your special order materials and confirms your commitment to the project. I am happy to email photos of my progress upon request. Please check my feedback for comments from other happy custom order recipients. Production time for custom designs will vary, but is usually between one day and six weeks depending on materials needed. If ordering something for a special occasion, such as a wedding, it’s a good idea to allow a few extra weeks before the event just in case anything unexpected happens!

Please note that some larger custom orders will be eligible for discounts based on the volume!! I also enjoy adding extra special touches to your order, such as including a note (ex: for wedding jewelry) including the date and names of the bride and groom, so that your friends and family really truly understand that their jewelry was created just especially for your special day!

♦ Details for Gift Certificate Purchase and Redemption
There are two choices for gift certificates, either paper ones you buy out of my shop and I mail to you, or electronic ones that you buy through PauPal which are instantaneous. Paper gift certificates are available in my shop, just contact me to let me know if you would like the dollar amount changed before you purchase. Electronic (emailable/immediate) gift certificates are available up to $500 through PayPal. Simply visit my myspace page at www.myspace.com/kdhdesigns and look for the orange "Buy Gift Certificate" button on the left side of the page. Click on it and follow the directions for purchase - it's super easy! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Redemption for electronic gift certificates:

Redemption for paper Gift Certificates:
1. Visit http://kerrihale.etsy.com. Shop and find an item you wish to purchase. Add it to your cart, and when finished shopping, start the check out procedure.
2. Select PayPal as your payment option. Log in to your account. You must have or register for a PayPal account to redeem this gift certificate. (To register, click Sign Up now.)
3. When prompted, enter your gift certificate redemption code and follow the last steps to redeem your gift certificate.

♦ Details for Wholesale Order Discounts
Even though my shop prices are already 45% below retail, I do offer an additional wholesale discount of 25% off with a minimum order of $350. If you are interested in placing a wholesale order please contact me directly before purchase. After order is submitted I will send a revised invoice reflecting the discount. Full payment is due immediately upon receipt of your revised invoice. Orders not paid for within 24 hours will be cancelled. All items must be purchased and paid for in one lump transaction (must all appear on the same invoice) to be eligible for wholesale discount. Wholesale discount cannot be combined with any other sales, specials or discounts. Returns may only be made within 1 week of receipt of your Wholesale order. If returned items result in the total falling below $350, then the discount is void from all items (this may result in you actually owing more for the transaction). Custom items are not eligible for a wholesale discount. Held items are not eligible for the wholesale discount. Some items are never eligible for wholesale such as chains, extenders, gift boxes, or items already on sale. I reserve the right to change these rules at any time and for any reason. If you are a frequent wholesale buyer please be sure to review this section before each order. All outstanding invoices must be paid before placing a new order.
