I specialize in creating distinctive one-of-a-kind and limited edition beaded jewelry designed with a variety of artisan lampwork glass beads, semi-precious gemstones, pearls, crystal, and silver.

Living in the desert inspires much of my work which can range from a traditional, classic look to a very primitive and tribal look. The process of creating begins for me by thinking about what types of stones or lampwork beads I want to put together. Color and shape are extremely important to the composition. Each bead is carefully selected and examined for quality and shape. Some designs can take an hour or longer to layout and string together some I look at for a couple of days. Some designs go right back into the bead box because it's just not quite right.

It is always a goal of mine to learn new techniques and improve my skills as a designer. I am completely fascinated with handmade lampwork beads and began my own journey exploring this intriguing art form in 2003. Many of my designs will feature glass beads I've made myself as well as other artisan beads from the US and around the world.

I have a background in art and design and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's in Graphic Design. I currently work full time as a graphic designer and create jewelry part time. I obsess about beads all the time. :-) Beads!

My jewelry creations can be found in several private collections around the United States, Canada and Europe.
