Bio

I was born and raised in New Orleans, but have been living in Alabama for over 30 years. I still have my New Orleans sense of humor that some people don't get!

I enjoy painting portraits, especially non-traditional ones of children showing their struggle for independence - I love 2 year olds and 14 year olds especially.

My background is in social work and counseling, I guess that's why I love children with attitude.

I paint a wide variety of other subjects in oil, and sometimes in acrylic.
