Bio

My name is Teiva. I am 32 years old and have been making things since I can remember. My Grandmother Ginny used to save me little bits of things that she found around the house and I would create strange and unusual things out of them. Faeriesmak started when I morphed my love of jewelry making and selling things online into one project. My friends all suggested that I start my own site. I think they were all sick of me making jewelry all of the time and sending it to them! You can only keep so much of it for yourself! I have a Bachelors degree in Music Education from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. I never did end up teaching! So yes..that means that I play an instrument. I play the clarinet and the bassoon. I am always on the lookout for new things to make! My ideas come to me in the strangest of places. Usually when I am starting at boxes of car parts where I work part time or when I am driving my car. My mother is a professional digital photographer and you will see her work on my HOME page from time to time. My father was a bass player in a rock band and could make anything from wood. Creating things is in my genes! YAY for genomes! Hip Hip Hooray! I am also related to the infamous Dalton Gang and my Great Grandfather John was the first person to Teflon coat something.
