Bio

I have been knitting and crocheting since I was eight. One year, I knit about 9 adult sweaters, as well as some hats and scarves in between. What I learned that year was how to put a sweater together. I don't use patterns any more, I design my own things and sell them at jmaccknit.etsy.com. I also have a blog at knitcafe.squarespace.com. I love to sew and embroider as well and I have also fallen in love with felting, both wet method and machine washing. I love to mix all these things up in my work.
I live in Olympia Washington with my handsome husband and my adorable yet challenging 17 year old son.
