Bio

I am a self taught artist living in the Northern California area. My art encompasses mixed media, collage, primitive, and folk art.

For many years I have offered my artworks on ebay! under the seller name Zinnia_Treasures, but I've decided to officially keep my shop on Etsy open for business for the long term, offering a variety of art mediums and perspectives. My greatest joy in creating a piece of artwork is in the message. All of my art has a purpose, and that is to uplift, inspire, and to spread warmth and joy to others. It is a gift and privilege to be able to express ones creative voice, and I am grateful for every day that I am able to do what I love to do most.

Sketching is an integral part of my creative process, and I spend most of my free time doodling with my pencils. While studying jewelry design I developed an eye for detail, and tend to put much more detail in my work than shows in the photographs of my work. Many customers have been surprised to find the "little extra touches" I include in my artwork. It's a secret I do enjoy revealing in person!
