Hafa Adai!
(Hello in Chamorro)

I’m sure you’re wondering where is Chamorro use, well it’s used in Guam. Just in case you don’t know where Guam is, it’s a little island located in the South Pacific and its part of the Marianas Islands.

I am not from Guam but my husband is. Since I learned about Guam I became interested in their coulter and their History. It’s amazing to know that little island holds so much history.

I’m currently trying to learn their language, but it’s kind of difficult and hard to learn. Chamorro, although it’s the official language of Guam little by little it’s getting lost in the generations. Unfortunately the language and culture is getting lost in the new generations.

Well now that you know where the name of my shop comes from; let me tell you about me now.
I currently live in Florida and been living here for almost 3 years. Before I moved to Florida I lived in Southern California since I was born. My full time job is in a title company as a closing agent. My hobbies besides crafts is Fishing. I grew up fishing with my mom every weekend and then I meet my husband and good thing he likes fishing too. So now that we live in Florida we try to go as often as possible to The Florida Keys and fish. The times we don’t go to the keys, well we fish all around our local piers and shores.

My family has always been Crafty. My grandma had her own shop with pottery and paintings she made her self. My mother is more of a crafty person, she’s not so much into pottery but loves to paint and create all kinds of cute stuff. All of my aunts and uncles are into crafts too, some do wood work some others do paintings and others do pottery. I stared doing scrapbooking not long ago, before that I did ceramic, but with electricity and living in a smaller house right now it wasn’t working out. So I decided to do different embellishments that are cute and affordable.
