My name is Toni and I live in the small town of Plains in Northwestern Montana. My husband and I have been married for 27 years and we have five children, mostly grown. I am also the granny of three lovely grandchildren with the fourth due in July. I love making baby things because what is more fun and beautiful than a baby...

I started out making quilts and branched out into toys. I am now obsessed with bringing all those goofy old sketches I have been doing for years to life, the life of a toy. I was one of those kids who really believed my toys were alive, maybe this has something to do with why I enjoy making them so much.

I have been quilting for 5 years now but all the doodling, sketching and sewing I have done since I was a kid has built up to the realization of quilting being “it” for me.

All quilts and toys are originals designed by me, Toni, and are lovingly made in my home, one at a time, no assembly line involved.

All my quilts are made with quality quilt shop cottons and quality cotton threads. Brands of batting may vary according to availability, some have a small amount of polyester in them. My quilting designs are done freemotion. I don't draw them onto the quilt or use patterns. I consider this to be “thread doodling” and I love seeing what comes out of my machine-hand-brain co-operation.

Unless stated, all my quilts are pre-washed to get that annoying shrinkage out of the way, also to show the lovely rumples and texture I consider to be so much a part of my designs. My house is a smoke free zone, I do have one pet cat but she has her own quilts and does not lay on my work.

I do not make money on the shipping of my
items but do add enough to cover the costs of my shop supplies.
