I'm a busy working mother and wife who loves to design and sew. I don't get alot of time to myself but sewing is one of the few things that helps me wind down after a busy day.

My grandmother is an amazing seamstress who taught me how to sew when I was 11 or 12. She taught me technique and showed me passion. She taught me to look at fabric and be inspired by the material you were working with, letting it guide you. The first apron from Butterfly Designs was given to her as a token for all she has given me.
