Bio

My name is Eve and I spend most of my days sewing, skiing, cooking, baking and reading. I live in one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen, Crested Butte, Colorado. It is a tiny little town in the heart of the Rockies and is at an elevation of 8, 885 ft.

I love to sit at my sewing desk because I have a big window that looks out to big 13 and 14, 000 ft mountains, so if I get discouraged I am easily reminded that I am tiny, and a jam in my sewing machine is not the end of the world!

I have been sewing for about 14 years, and though throughout life it has occasionally been put on the back burner so that I could pursue more practical things I always end up returning to it.

I try to use as many recycled and vintage materials as possible, it just seems to go hand in hand with making things by...hand. Kind of like buying local AND organic as supposed to just grocery store organic. However I do have trouble ignoring a great fabric when I find it!

Right now I am going through a time where I want to make every kind of thing that pops into my head. This means that you might be seeing just about anything in my shop ranging from handmade underwear to baby clothes to casual tops and soon mens vintage and crocheted and hand knit goods.
