Bio

I am an artist and web designer living in Boise, Idaho. In 2003, I received my BFA from the University of Montana with an emphasis in painting and a minor in media arts. Since then I have continued a wide range of work from explorations of saints and self-portraiture to collaborations with my poet husband, Adrian Kien.

In August of 2007, we traveled to Chambery, France to live and work until May 2008. In between eating pounds of cheese and buying wine by the gallon, I did a lot of drawing. It was then that my Etsy story was born and I sold many drawings of French cityscapes and cows.

I am a member of the Boise Open Studio Collective Organization and have shown my work at the Gallery at Hyde Park. In February of 2009, I was awarded an Artist-in-Residence at the 8th Street Marketplace in downtown Boise. It gave me the opportunity to do a lot of painting and show my work to a broad audience.
