All About Fancy Pants Jewelry
Fancy Pants was created on a wing and a prayer. I had been creating my own jewelry for a long time and I was encouraged by several people to start selling my items.

Fancy Pants was launched in February of 2006 and I have several avid followers and supporters. I am very grateful and thankful to them.

Since then we have expanded beyond necklaces, earrings and bracelets.

We have started Fancy Baby - Little Diva designs. Fancy Baby was created by my pal, Nicole and she is my new partner in the business.

Because we all love our pets, Fancy Pet was formed inspired by Agador Spartacus, the original Fancy pup!

Sometimes we design bracelets and earrings that use Evil Eye beads that are direct from Europe and Turkey. For my designs, I buy and use only authentic raw materials or those that are crafted by indigenous artisans.

A Fancy History
How did all this come about? You ask… It all started with my mom and her love of travel. It took us to California many times over the years. We had traveled up and down the coast and in one sleepy suburb of Napa Valley, I came upon a bead store. Don’t ask me to tell you the name, because it was so many years ago, but it was the store that changed my life.

We walked in and were surrounded by many different beautiful colors and textures of beads and silk threads. I was excited by the possibilities of being able to create my own jewelry. The thought never came to mind before. During that summer, I began to create intricate designs that were the talk of the town.

Fast-forward twelve years and while I was working at my first love, teaching, I began to feel that creative edge again and went out and started to collect some interesting beads. This was the beginning of Fancy Pants Jewelry. Having graduated from Marymount Manhattan College, I always knew I was destined to do something creative, but what?

Fancy Pants Jewelry started in the summer of 2005 while planning my wedding. For you see, I couldn’t find suitable gifts for my bridesmaids that let me creatively express their unique personalities. After much consideration, I drew upon the dreams of my childhood. I thought back to all of those wonderful beads that I saw at that store so many years ago. I thought about the excitement that I felt that day with all the wonderful possibilities that were at my fingertips.

I could now bring my fashion sense and creativity to the forefront and share it with others. My wedding was a huge success and for months later, my bridesmaids kept telling me that people were asking them about their jewelry and where can they get their own? After that, I decided to do a jewelry premier party. On that day, it was a smashing success and Fancy Pants Jewelry was born.

Fancy People

Tiffany "Fancy Fanny" Vesterman: She was born to a fashion forward family in 1978. On her mother's side, there were many in the fashion industry. Her grandmother and aunts had talents for making beautiful things. Her grandmother, Tommasina Rosalia "Mazie", ran the Rosalie Dress factory in Manhattan during the early part of the 20th century. Her father owned the business and Grandma Mazie skillfully ran it by the age of 16. On May 11, 1944, in the middle of the war, Grandma worked a full day at the factory, went home, showered and at that night gave birth to my mother. Mazie had an exceptional skill for fashion. Her eye for color as well as accessorizing is what was passed down to me. I have grown into an amazing inheritance of jewelry and ideas from both my mother and grandmother. They are the ones that guide my fashion senses and my talents. I think, overall, I have morphed into a woman with her own sense of style.
Nicoletta "Koúkla" Sithiakakis: On October 24, 1978, a star was born. A little girl named Nicoletta was brought into this world. She had two dreams, to be a wife and to be a teacher. See, this little star loves kids. God bless her soul. She can't wait to have them after she gets married and has her big beautiful wedding. One day Nicoletta was sitting with Tiffany designing necklaces for her upcoming trip to Las Vegas where she was to be engaged, little did she know. She asked Tiffany to string her some necklaces but she is so meticulous that she decided to start working on her own. Nicoletta saw that this was a real stress relief, so when she came back from Las Vegas and was engaged, she wanted to get in touch with her inner craftiness. She started stringing beads with Tiffany. When she suggested that Tiffany design jewelry for little kids, mainly girls, Tiff told her to pick up some wire and beads and get going. This was the birth of Little Diva.
