As a mother of two, I strive to always do my best for my kids and husband. It makes me happy to think I'm creating beautiful, useful things for others to enjoy while doing my part to help support my family.

When choosing the name of my shop, I wanted a name that didn't necessarily target what I sold - as I knew I would be selling a little bit of everything. I also wanted a name that would stick out in people's minds when they heard it. My favorite color is purple and my son is always giving me hugs. So PurpleHug popped into my mind.

A charity close to my heart is New Hope Community Life Ministry, a local charity providing counseling/social services to the local community from a Christian perspective. I serve on the board and donate time and funds to this organization. Please know that your purchase helps me to continue to do so. Thanks!

All packages are shipped by first class US mail. Whenever possible, I try to recycle/reuse packaging supplies -- my little part to help the Earth.

If the Etsy mailing address and the Paypal address differ, I will ship to the Paypal address.

I recommend you purchase shipping insurance, cost is $1.65, as I cannot be responsible for packages damaged or lost by the US Postal Service. Delivery confirmation is included on every package mailed, where possible.

I will ship your order to the address listed with Etsy, even if another address is listed in Paypal.

Insurance is HIGHLY recommended for any shipment outside the USA, as I cannot be responsible for packages damaged or lost by the postal service or delayed by customs.

The Buyer is responsible for knowing what items can be legally purchased and imported into their own country. The Buyer is responsible for any additional fees necessary to receive their shipment that may be imposed by customs or their country's postal service.

RETURN POLICY

If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, returns on some items will be accepted for a limited time.

Unfortunately, custom items that cannot be sold to anyone else cannot be returned. Earrings cannot be returned, but may be returned for repairs if damaged during shipping.

You must notify me within 7 days of receipt that you desire to return the item and explain your reason for wanting a return.

Your refund will be the purchase price less return shipping. Thank you.

PAYING BY CREDIT CARD

You can pay with a credit card and not have to open a PayPal account. Or, this method can be used if you do not have enough funds in your PayPal account. eChecks take several days to clear. If paying by eCheck, your order will bee shipped when the eCheck clears.
1. Select your items and put them in your shopping cart.
2. When you are finished shopping, select "Checkout" and submit/complete your order.
3. Select the Pay with Paypal icon (you will be able to pay with credit card later).
4. On the next screen, you will see "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account" -- Click on "Continue".
5. Enter all of your credit card information and click on "Review order and continue".
6. Finish your order.
