ABOUT ME PRESENTLY

It's not difficult to be creative living in southern New England. There is so much beauty and inspiration everywhere you look.

My path to Rhode Island was almost a full circle...beginning in New York...moving through New Jersey, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, Scottsdale and now in Warwick, Rhode Island.

I am on a constant hunt for unusual materials and gain inspiration from old treasures. Art is part of who I am and I create something everyday...mostly jewelry ...but sometimes a mural or a hand knit scarf...or maybe even a new recipe. I also enjoy sharing through creative writing.

"Giving back" is very important to me and I donate on a regular basis to a variety of charities. Visit my website at www.CreativePotential.net to see some of the organizations I support.

THE PAST ME

My decorative art company started, kind of on it's own, over 20 years ago.

It was about a week after I graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. December 1987...my parents took me on a cruise to celebrate.

I had hand painted two jackets...one for myself and one for my mom and we both wore them on the trip.

Selling the jackets wasn't my motivation for creating them, but the response was so great I started taking orders right then!

The birth of a company...I continued with the hand painted clothing...mostly children's items and it gradually evolved into painting murals, trompe l'oeil, decorative finishes and home accessories...as well as offering a wide variety of painting and craft classes.

My goal has always been to provide personalized service and unique, high quality, one-of-a-kind, hand crafted items.

I selected my company name because I feel everyone has "Creative Potential".
