Bio

The paper bird is me (Danielle) and my best parrot friend, Flojo.

I'm not a little bit country, I'm a whole lot rock'n'roll. Aside from birds and making accessories, I have a passion for photography, and mostly photoshop. I spend way too much time with my computer, but at least I'm joined by a parrot and some great music that my parents and grandparents don't like. My three main dreams in life are (in no particular order): to be a cast member on SNL, to save the whales with Greenpeace, and to hold a political office so I can clean up the welfare and private healthcare systems. For now, I'm happy to rescue and raise wild baby birds and save every turtle I see in or near the road. Should you be a careless driver and hit either of these animals, I will eat your children.

Flojo is my best friend, and while she thinks she's a human as well, she happens to be covered in feathers. She has a knack for biting and will never miss an opportunity to scare a stranger or bothersome child. She rules this "roost" (although my husband tends to disagree), and I've been trained (by Flojo, of course) to give her my food and rub her neck. When Flojo isn't busy eating or enjoying neck rubs, she can be found bathing and dive bombing our dog. For her, both are equally amusing.
