Bio

Why I make:
I love making things. I always have and I always will. I love touching fabric and paint, beads and yarn, paper and pastels. I also make digital art but there's something unique about touching something and the immediate response of pen to paper or needle to thread. The sensual nature of making is why I keep coming back to my first love. I also make my own things because I can't stand homogeny. Life's too short to be boring and sterile.

My style:
I love to work with parts and pieces and find new ways to use them. I love color. I love texture. I'm not into words so much, so you'll rarely see me create something with words on it (unless they are funny words :-). I have a great poster that says "Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative." Sometime you have to break the rules to create something fun or unique. I like putting colors together that may not be "in style" but are good for each other. Most of all, I think that what I create is a reflection of my personality. I don't usually create things that I wouldn't wear myself.
