Welcome to Animal United Craft Shop.

I am Hiromi, live in North Bend, Washington - a beautiful little town in the Snoqualmie Valley. I was born and grew up in Japan and moved alone to the States in 1999.

"Animal United" is my website’s name. I created it after I adopted my first cat, Fifi, who was 2 month-old at that time. Adopting her made me think to do something for those animals who needed help. My website is all about what we can do to help them. At the same time, watching Fifi grow up with two other house cats made me realize that we humans are one of those creatures who live on Earth. We make a pack, have a family, raise kids, and learn to survive like other animals. We are all united one way or another, so I named my website AnimalUnited.com.

A portion of my sale will be donated to The Rolling Dog Ranch Animal Sanctuary (http://www.rollingdogranch.org) in Montana. They have been saving many animals who have disabilities - blind dogs, blind horses, deaf dogs, blind cats, and others with medical issues. Without them, those animals are likely to be euthanized.

My main materials are wool or cotton yarn/ fiber/fabric. My goal is to combine recycled or organic materials into my creations as much as I could.
