Welcome!

My work involves metalsmithing techniques and wire design. I absolutely love working with metal: sterling silver, copper and brass. I learned the fundamentals in college: sawing, soldering, casting, stone setting, chain making, patinas, texturing, ...
My passion for designing and handcrafting jewelry derives primarily from curiosity; I'm a "what if" person. The "what if" allows me to explore the metal and its properties. Add a dash of design, creativity, technique and skill to this insatiable curiosity and it makes way for an awesome outlet in jewelry making; the possibilities are endless!

The materials I use are sterling silver sheet and wire. I love handcrafted artisan lampwork beads; the colors are amazing. Color and texture greatly influence my work.

Other arts and crafts? Why of course. Life would be dull if I didn't keep my creative mind and hands busy. I enjoy photography, mosaics, painting, drawing, clay, sewing, crocheting, and of course, technology applications, another area in which, "what if" goes a long way : )
