ABOUT TERRAIN

Based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Terrain offers simple and organic accessories inspired by the colours and textures of nature.

I am a self-taught jewellery designer with a background in architecture and design. All of my pieces are handmade by me in a non-smoking environment, under the watchful eye of my helpful houserabbit.

MATERIALS

I use a wide variety of semiprecious stones, wood, shell, bone, and other natural materials. I make a concerted effort to accurately name all materials. Metals are sterling silver, goldfill and vermeil, and occasionally copper or brass. We never use new plated metals. Our vintage materials are carefully sourced and are generally 30+ years old. Some vintage metals may be plated and are noted as such in the listing. All of the vintage components I use are in excellent condition but some may still have the patina of age on them; that is part of their charm and uniqueness.
