Bio

I'm Jen - currently mother to one amazing girl, two cats, and a business I love. Here I make whatever I feel I'm led to make - jewelry, dyed yarn, dyed silks, dyed roving, dyed clothing, shibori stitched and dyed items, sewn goods... and, wait, that's it!

The thing you'll notice here is my penchant for color. Lots of it. I'm addicted to it. And everything here will have color in it, as well as a magical story that led me to make that item. It's what makes up Dahara Dreaming - the dreaming in color - it's about elves, fairies, pixies, goblins, giants, gnomes, gods, goddesses, elementals, flying horses, pirates... I'll stop the litany there, but should you dare ask, I'll tell you the story that caused me to create any product. Yes, I have hundreds of products, but I've read thousands of science fiction and fantasy stories, they live within me and in my products.

Oh, and everything is one of a kind. It's the best way to create.
