Hi, I'm Julia - Thank you for visiting my little shop, it's very nice to meet you! All the important information about payment and shipping is right here. You can also learn more about me at the bottom of the page.
*PAYMENT INFO*
All prices are in USD. I know USD can seem off putting for UK buyers but Paypal converts the cost automatically for you. At present (Jan 2008) Paypal offer: 1.00 USD = 0.49 GBP.
I accept payments via Paypal only. Payment must be processed immediately so that your order can be despatched without delay.
*SHIPPING INFO*
My main aim is for your purchase to arrive to you safely and undamaged, so please don't expect any pretty packaging. My work will be carefully packaged into a sealed cellophane sleeve and then placed into a bubble or cardboard-backed envelope.
Once payment is received, your order will be shipped within two working days to the address provided on Etsy, and not your Paypal address. Should any problems arise, I will contact you as soon as possible.
International shipping to most countries is a flat rate. I only ship via First Class with the Royal Mail.
Insurance is unfortunately not available on any items.
Please note that all duties or import taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
*GENERAL INFO*
Please convo me if you would like an item personalised or resized. I may be able to add a name, number or other special words to a card, I can't guarantee this for all items, but I can take a look at the card you have chosen to see if or how they can be modified. I would also be happy to make a card or piece of jewellery in a different colour if you like a style but not the colour, all you have to do is ask.
If you like an item that has already been sold, please drop me a convo and I might be able to re-create something similar if I still have the materials to hand. Conversation is the key to solve all things!
The rough handling or dropping of any item will of course cause damage so please handle all your purchases with care and affection. Your jewellery will need careful cleaning with a damp, non-abrasive cloth from time to time to remove the natural build up of dirt, grease and tarnish. However, please do not soak in any liquid or use abrasive cloths or harsh chemicals on the pieces you have bought from my shop.
*ABOUT ME & MY CRAFT*
Lizzie Violet was the name of my much loved and missed Great Nan. I have fond memories of sitting down with her as a child as she showed me how to knit, sew, draw and scrapbook. We used to get in a mess when we made glue out of flour and water - great fun :-) So, even though she was never keen on her name, I think she would be proud that my little shop is named after her.
Nowadays, I have moved away from the flour and water and have a passion for patterned papers and embellishments such as ribbons, buttons, blossoms and eyelets. I like the texture and dimension they add to a card. I have also recently started jewellery making - more bits and bobs to clutter my workshop! I love to use genuine semi-precious stones, Sterling Silver and natural brass. I just adore the colours, and knowing that they are a natural element makes it all the better to work with and admire.
I like simple and elegant designs, I've never liked fussy or mass-produced products. My items are created from hours of playing around with different styles, techniques and colour-ways. My cards and jewellery do tend to be unique creations so you can feel safe in the knowledge that what you are buying is unique.
All items have been created by hand in a smoke and pet free home.
