Welcome!

I'm Catherine, thirty-something mother to sweet daughters Lucy and Audrey.

I opened Lucy's Place in November of 2007. Everything you see instore is designed and constructed by me from the initial idea right through to the finished garment. I draft all of my own patterns using professional pattern-making methods, and making toiles for design and fitting adjustments as part of the production process.

We also test wear each garment to ensure best fit, comfort and general wearability. All fabrics are hand-picked by me and are of high quality, and often in limited supply. All seams are professionally finished.

When designing clothes I take into consideration the wearability of a garment. If I, Lucy or Audrey, is not happy with the garment in any way, it won't make it in to the shop.
