Bio

I've been very busy raising two of my three granddaughters since February 2002. I certainly have my hands full but it's been fun. I was trying to think of ways to bring in some income and still be able to take care of our home and the children. When I discovered online selling I thought, "What a better way than from home!" Now this is my full time job. It's nice going to work without even leaving home, driving in congested traffic, and burning up my gas.

ART...I had gotten away from it gradually, years ago. Life got too hectic with a job and kids back then. In about September (2005) I saw something that sparked my urge to create again. I saw an item that someone had altered. There is something about altered art that is very fascinating to me. You can look at it many times and each time you can see something you hadn't seen before. I tried my hand at it and loved it. Now I'm addicted! No joke. Everything I look at I see it in a different way. A box isn't just a box anymore. An Altoid tin isn't just a tin anymore. A CD isn't just a CD anymore. I even look at things like shoes and plates, you name it, and I visualize it as altered. When I first started on eBay I had a saying..........."If you leave it laying around you may find it on eBay." Now I find myself saying, "If you leave it laying around you may find it altered!"

CROCHET...My mother taught me how to crochet when I was about 8 years old. I remember practicing for hours, making great lengths of chain stitching. Back then I felt that this was a great accomplishment. My sister, who is 13 months younger, and I would see who could make the longest row of chain stitches.
