Bio

I'm a mom currently raising my 8 year old son, and I try to live my life as naturally and simplistically as I can.

My love of soap making started in 2006, when I was in pursuit of soap that wouldn't dry my skin, and was made of pure and natural ingredients.

I started creating recipes using skin loving oils, herbs, botanicals and clays, and being a creative person, found my passion.

I noticed within 2 weeks of exclusively using my soap, my skin became softer and more luminescent, and in the best condition it's ever been in.

I had found something so wonderful and better than anything I could buy in a store. I immediately began gifting friends and family with numerous bars, asking for and then receiving such positive feedback, and comments of "You should sell this" and "My skin has never looked and felt so good", that I decided to perfect my recipe and launch Naturally Amy's in 2007 after I became widowed.

I needed a means to support my son who is my greatest joy and inspiration.

I have been happily soaping ever since.

My entire line of soaps are created with pure oils such as olive, palm fruit, palm kernel, hemp to name a few along with imported shea butter.
I use whole goat milk in my goat milk soaps to moisturize and condition any type of skin.

I infuse botanicals such as Calendula, Comfrey, and Chamomile in pure olive oil, then add these to my soap, allowing the natural herbal benefit of these wonderful plants to condition your skin.

My basic bath and body line of soap contains natural clays, pigments and herbs to add color and interest to the soaps, while scent comes from the purest aromatherapy grade essential oils including Bulgarian Lavender, Lemongrass, Patchouli and true citrus, I just love essential oils and the fact that they are as pure and natural as possible.

My soap also makes fantastic wedding and shower favors and I welcome wholesale inquiries with just a small minimum wholesale order.

Nature provides us with the most perfect ingredients and preserving and respecting the Earth we live on is important to me. From choosing the ingredients at the inception of each soap recipe all the way to my final earth friendly packaging, I'm constantly striving to support and maintain the ecological balance of our planet.

In 2009 I started working with fibers and added in my line of simple soy candles.
