Bio

I was a scientist in my former life. One day, while working with quite a lot of radiation, I realized that my life may not be as charmed as I had once thought it to be. I had always had a passion for photography, a passion that wasn't entirely satisfied with photographing amoebas (despite being adorable). Armed with a photography background from previous years, I decided to open my own photography company, and take pictures of subjects that could actually smile. The amoebas cried.

I've been photographing plants, people, small animals, larger animals, buildings, the unidentifiable but beautiful and anything else that strikes my fancy for over 10 years now. Having a deep appreciation of nature and the environment, an appreciation the amoebas helped foster, I decided a year ago to switch to digital photography to help reduce harmful chemical wastes traditional film photography produces.
