Stephanie was born and raised in Southern Illinois. Photography has always been an interest to her. She would monopolize the camera on family vacations and excursions. She decided to stay in the area and attend Southern Illinois University to pursue a formal education. It was in school that she realized she was a film effectionado, prefering that over digital. She specializes in black and white printing and antique processes, enjoying the intimacy of working with such hands on processes.

After attending school, she decided to work on her ultimate project, producing a bouncing baby boy named Eli.
