Bio

I think it all started with my Barbies. I was never completely satisfied with the outfits that were made available to me and my plastic friends, so I decided to make my own. I added more glitter, feathers, color, anything to make MY Barbie stand out!
Then I became a teenager. I always wanted to be edgy, I did not want ANYTHING that ANYONE else had. This proved to be difficult because unlike my Barbies, I was life-like and needed to learn how to use a sewing machine. Thankfully, my mom was an expert seamstress, so I watched, hovered and soaked up all of her skill. I created my own jewelry, dresses, embellished tops and jeans.
Now, I am an adult. Like the child in me, I am always adoring beautiful things. Like the teenager, I want the new, and I am always learning new skills from metal-smithing to crochet.
Today I come at my creations from a different perspective--practical items with the imaginiation of a child, that are always new and inspiring. There is no other way to define it, so I call it Lallygags.
