Thank you for checking out my etsy store! I am Justine Pallace, located in Rochester, New York, living with talented game designer/illustrator husband (www.bentcastle.com) and 2 cats. I am a jeweler by training and trade, but find satisfaction and fun in the little creatures I have been creating with textiles. The first ones (done in late 2005) were “Dice Bags of Devouring” for your gaming needs. I loved the character that fur, teeth and eyes can produce, and found that purses were the way to go. Thus Bags that Bite was born.

My favorite part is the care and detail I put into each bag, creating friends rather than “product.” All of the eyes are hand painted and are what I feel brings true “life” to my creations.

Regardless of productivity or desire, I have 2 American short-hair cats helping me create each bag. My work environment is constantly swept, and
I place the completed bags out of pounce range; but I am sure there are contributions from both of the black rascals on everything I make.
