Bio
Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about me.
My mixed-media work is an exploration of the non-linear nature of memory. The repetitive nature of my processes, (printmaking, mark-making, sewing, crocheting) allows my mind to wander, thus each finished piece becomes a record of my thoughts. I am interested in souvenirs, collections, and ephemera from everyday adventures.
I grew up in Downey, California. I lived in Murray, Kentucky for many years, and received my BFA in Drawing and Printmaking from Murray State University in 2003.
I received my MFA in Printmaking from West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia in 2007. For more information on what my work is about, please check out my Master’s Thesis:

I currently live in Los Angeles, and I teach part-time at Loyola Marymount University and California State University Northridge (I teach drawing, printmaking, and 2d design).
I’ve also learned things and made things at the Penland School of Crafts, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and Frogman's Print Workshops.
