CrochetDad's Profile

Bio

I am a man who crochets.

I first learned crochet from my paternal grandmother at about age 10. I didn't really do anything serious with crochet until about 1980 at age 38. I was a computer analyst without any particular outside interests. I began having dreams about my work, and I decided "I've got to get a hobby!" My soon-to-be wife had brought home a granny square she learned how to do at work. I said "I can do that." We both started crocheting and made a couple of projects. We both lost interest, but the birth of our first daughter reawakened my interest. After making her an afghan, I was "hooked". I'm now 67 and retired from the computer industry, so I have more time for crochet, and I'm loving it.

My blog is at www.crochetdad.blogspot.com
