Welcome to Northern Jewels.

Northern Jewels is actually a sister branch off from our family business (Wicked Stones). Both my partner and I (Rob) have been searching for gemstones and making jewelry for since 1999. It's been an incredible journey from an idea born over coffee late at night, to an international retail and wholesale business. (PHEW!) (Yes I do offer wholesale).

Enough with the heavy stuff. Here's where you get to know more about the the real people.

My name is Vikki Soros and I live in a tiny town up in Northern Canada. I'm an Earthy Pagan (or Tree Hugger as some folks have dubbed me.) I'm an Artist, a writer, a lover of plants and gardens.

We live in a fabulous part of the world that is surrounded by endless nature - which gives us great opportunity to do a lot of rock hounding! I've been lucky to find a partner who enjoys exploring nature as much as I do. Some of the treasures we post here on Etsy are actually gems we've found in our personal travels.

Every stone we choose to work with has been hand picked to reflect the most beautiful aspect of the Elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Although we can't travel across the globe to pick some of these stones at the mines themselves, we do choose these gems in person before we bring them home.

Every piece is one of a kind as no two stones are ever alike (kind of like snowflakes on a crisp winters night). In the future you may see a similar stone type but rest assured, yours is unique.
