ReconstructiveChoice's Profile

Bio

As a feminist who's very aware of how women are targeted by large corporations to become over-consumers, I'm into conservation. Not only do I enjoy redoing old clothes (thrift store finds, torn up stuff from my closet, etc), but I also like creating styles that women can feel comfortable and unique in. I tend to keep my prices low so that a purchase doesn't strain the checkbook, and most profits go right back into buying new material/old clothing. Sewing is a hobby, one that I find very liberating and has helped me find and recreate my voice in new ways. I use a basic machine, no serger, but I finish all seams and topstitch those that can be topstitched. I also very much love to network with other crafters, and I'm always willing to make non-monetary trades with others... just offer and I'll let ya know! Peace.
