About Custom Orders:
I happily accept custom order. If you want larger skeins, an addition or subtraction of a certain colorway, or something entirely new that you thought up, I'm able to do it! My policy on custom orders is that payment be received in full prior to production. If you would like to see the colorway before it is produced, please convo me to arrange a small sampler with the colors available to view. There is a nominal fee of 3.00 for each preview of a colorway, in which 1 will be reimbursed per skein of yarn purchased.

All custom orders are non-refundable.

Reservations and payment:
If you would like a skein reserved for you, please convo me and I will be happy to do so. Check out my previously sold items as I am able to reproduce all of my colorways! Reservations must be paid in full three days from date of reservation or the reservation will be removed and available for public purchase. Please pay for your items within three days. If an item is not purchased within three days without prior arrangements, I will relist the item.

Please send request orders via the conversations through etsy. Please include yarn type, quantity, colorway. Please allow 48 hours for pricing quote.

About the pictures:
I take all my photos in daylight/ott light conditions. The photo's may be altered to remove background distractions and brightened. I never alter the color or saturation of the photos. If you would like to see the untouched photos, please convo me.
About Policy:

I strive for high quality with my yarns. If I would not knit with it myself, I will not sell it. Hand dyed yarns have unique qualities that give each dye lot it's own characteristic, I take many pictures in daylight conditions and try to match the yarn to the colors it shows on my monitor, therefore, I cannot account for the different monitor quality or color settings you view the yarn for. If you are unhappy with the yarn, I accept unused/undamaged returns within five days of receipt for the purchase price, although I will enquire the reason for to help ensure my quality. I must receive an email or conversation prior to this. I will also be happy to send an exchange for the unused/undamaged yarn plus shipping (or to be combined with another purchase for free shipping) if you would prefer. I want you to be happy with what I make and will strive to make sure you are. This is void if:
Yarn has been used/weighs less than it did when shipped.
The label has been torn or damaged.
Any spills/burns/unusual smells on the yarn.
Yarn is not shipped back in ziplock bag.

It must be shipped back in the condition which I sent it to you.

Upon receipt with conditions met I will forward the purchase price back to your paypal account. I am unable to refund any other way at this time.


Shipping: I ship within 48 hours of receipt of payment. I ship via priority mail, in the priority mail boxes. They're free and I don't have to worry about what's been in them prior. Contents are placed in a plastic bag to help protect them from the elements.

A note about the yarn:
My yarns come from my home. It is a smoke free/dog friendly environment. I strive to keep his contribution to the yarn down, but a stray blonde hair is ineviteable with my lab mix.


A little bit about me: I've been crafting in the fiber world for over 6 years. I live in Fort Worth, Texas with my two boys, the husband and the son. Our two lab mixes keep us company.

About Blue Hands Fibers:
The name came about when I was dyeing one of my first skeins. I dyed it originally blue green and black with some undyed areas. Well, I didn't like it so I overdyed it with a ton of blue. Forgetting this is dye, that is essentially stain, dove my hands into the blue water and worked the yarn around making sure it would get saturated. Out come my hands and they are blue. Ed Harris from the Abyss B-L-U-E blue. It just seemed fitting to call it Blue Hands Fibers.
