I love that I have a “relationship” with my customers. I wish every purchase was that way.... Imagine if the place where you bought your bananas shared with you where they were from, and how they were harvested and grown. Wouldn’t you feel safer about eating them? I know I would. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share this creative gift with people who understand and appreciate it. I love to hear stories of how our natural herbal soap or skin care product has helped with a skin problem like acne, psoriasis, rosaceae or something as common as poison ivy.
Nature’s beauty has provided all the necessities in a bountiful harvest of herbs, minerals, botanicals, and even trees that are have been known for centuries to provide us with safe, natural skin care. It’s my hope that everyone does their part to take care of what we were given on this earth so that we can continue to take care of each other.

WHY ARE OUR PRODUCTS DIFFERENT:

We have spent years developing our own unique blend of essential oils / fragrances and natural organic “plant based” oils for great gourmet soaps. Many for specific skin types and skin problems such as acne, rosaceae (redness of the checks, etc), psoriasis, eczema, severely dry skin, and much more. ORGANIC v/s STORE BOUGHT

Most people don’t know that most store bought soap is not “actually” soap at all..... it’s detergent. Have you ever found yourself terribly “itchy” after your bath? That is because the essential moisture retaining element GLYCERIN (that occurs naturally in handmade soap) is taken out of most store bought soaps as a “by product” and sold for profit elsewhere. The soap then has chemicals added to replace the moisture & lather that the glycerin would produce naturally.
Research has brought to light the effects of “added” chemicals are now causing on our skin which may include red irritated skin, acne, eczema, rashes, psoriasis, dermatitis, keratosis, sensitive skin, and more.
The most common CHEMICAL: Sodium Laureth Sulfate & Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate may now be found in 98% of most store bought soaps. If you were to look up these products in the encyclopedia you would find that it’s description included the term SKIN IRRITANT (we know, we had to look twice too...)

“OUR” NATURAL ORGANIC INGREDIENTS

Our soap bases are made from natural “plant, vegetable and nut oils” such as olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, hemp seed oil, wheat germ oil, grape seed, and jojoba, etc. In most cases we purchase and use organic oils when available. We also included extra moisturizers such as Vitamin E, coco butter, goat’s milk (when listed), shea oils and more.
Our fragrances are made from pure essential oils and natural fragrances such as rose water, etc. Some ingredients such as vanilla essential oil for example may be a skin irritant, in these instances we use a high quality cosmetic grade fragrance. Which are skin safe and non irritating. Some floral and fruit scents such as pomegranate, current, cherry, raspberry, etc. may not have an essential oil, in these cases we may use the actual fruit in combination with a fragrance oil or alone to produce a unique clean scent. If you have any questions regarding the use of our essential oils or high quality fragrance oils please feel free to ask. We would be happy to discuss any information or alternative options available before your purchase.
We also may also use certified organic herbs such as- Green Tea, Black Tea, White Chai Tea, Peppermint, Spearmint and more. Other ingredients may include: tea tree oil known to many as a natural skin healer from the bark of a tree in Australia, oatmeal, or other special additives for specialty products. Example: citronella and lemon grass for our insect repellants and pet products.

A FEW NOTES ABOUT HANDMADE SOAP....

If you have never tried handmade soap before- you are in for a treat! But, there are a few differences from store bought soaps. Mostly that there are no chemicals, dyes, etc. One of the greatest things about handmade soap it is ALL unique! No soap is ever exactly the same. Every bump, dimple, and variation in color make each bar or molded soap individual by design. It's simply not possible to make an exact replica of any individual soap which shows it's handmade!
You should also take note of storing instructions to ensure a longer life of your new soaps. Thanks and enjoy your handmade organic soap.

VEGAN & VEGETARIAN CONCERNS

We LOVE animals! And love that you do too...
We fully respect the lifestyle and appreciation of “life” from a vegan standpoint. Therefore we list any product that may be of concern to you up front. All goat’s milk, honey, and beeswax are listed on the product description. Please note however that we do not practice ANY harm to ANY animal (even bees) with the use of our products. Our goat’s milk is derived from unused portions of milk when it would otherwise go to waste. See more on any goat milk product listing.
We use a small amount of wild honey collected with no harm to the bees, and beeswax is collected when hives have been deserted. We hope this explanation of how we gather our products from nature will help identify the difference between commercial and “our” organic use of natures extended bounty.

WHOLESALE - BULK ORDERS - Baby/Wedding SHOWERS

We welcome wholesale inquiries (inside the US) info/price list can be sent to you upon request. And we LOVE special orders! If you would like to buy soap sets, custom soaps, require a special scent in a specific soap, etc. we would be happy to assist. If you find a product but would like a difference fragrance PLEASE ASK... chances are we have it, or can make it within a day or two. We also do weddings, anniversary or other favors in bulk - our set of 3 duckies has quickly become a common request for baby showers. We can consult with you on special colors, packaging and even a special message on each individual tag for shower gifts! click convo for details.

SHIPPING & HANDLING + INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Shipping is based on actual estimated costs without profit. Any handling charges are estimated within the shipping price and combined as one (since etsy does not have a handling section for this feature yet). Example: is your soap shipping is listed as $2 approximately .98 of that total cost is estimated for handling.

RETURNS
If for any reason you are unhappy with the scent, size or color of the soap or other product you received. Please do not return it as we cannot re-sale it for safety reasons. However, we will do what we can to ensure that you walk away with a fair service/sale. Please be sure before making any purchase that you read our profile as well as our policies. All information is listed and disclosed to you before a sale takes place so that you have the information you need to decide if you would like to purchase.

BE SURE YOUR ADDRESS IS CORRECT

We use the address YOU provide. It is given to us by etsy at the time of checkout. We cannot "guess" your correct address. So, be SURE it is correct and active (PO's ect). If it is returned to us by the postal service stamped insufficient address we will not resend it at an extra cost to us (which would be unreasonable). We will document by photo that it was stamped by the PO and give you the option (by custom order) to resend it. This does not happen very often and we will do everything we can to be sure your package arrives safely and on time.

HOW WE GOT STARTED....OUR STORY

I would like to say I was “always” smart enough to be earth conscious and eco friendly... but it simply isn’t true. It wasn’t until I was in my mid twenties that I received one of those cheaky ready-made bath gift baskets for Christmas. I was so exited about using it, it was so “spa like”- a huge sponge, lotions, bath salts and a big bottle of soap with an angel on the front. Who could have known that - it was this angel that would...change my life!
I ran a hot steamy bath, poured in some soap, made a huge luxurious bubble bath and got right in. I set the soap, and sponge on the side of the tub and started to relax. After a few minutes I opened my eyes and reached for the sponge. I noticed immediately that the sponge smelled of some type of chemical (almost like a rubber tire). Needless to say, I threw it out. I started to read the bottle to find out what scent it was (it smelled good).... I noticed in small block print at the very bottom of the bottle it read “Warning: avoid contact with eyes, mouth or open areas".... WHAT? What kind of soap is this? I had already soaked in it for 10 minutes, washed my entire face, and as a “woman” there are other areas to be concerned with.... I was stunned!!!
I immediately drained the water, stood up and showered off the soap residue. Dried off, put on a robe and went to the computer (bottle in hand). After a few minutes of searching I found out that this product was made in a third world country, and did indeed have some of the most vial chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium lauryth sulfate (among others) in it’s contents. I sat there in tears...how could “they” sell this to people? How could they? It seemed almost inhumane! What if I were a baby, a pregnant woman, my mind started to wonder as I thought of how many UNAWARE people probably used this....
The next day I went to my local neighborhood friendly conglomerate, which will remain nameless for legal reasons... and began my own research. I started in the soap isle... NOT ONE single soap - liquid or bar were without these chemicals. Most of the shampoos, shaving gels, dish detergents and don’t get me started on the laundry products had them and more! The heavy scents (I found out) were to MASK the chemicals! It seemed the stronger the perfume content the higher level of chemicals there were in each product....
How could I have lived in a world so blind thus far? I wasn’t like I had never heard it before... "Stinking tree huggers" I always thought... whenever anyone had anything to say about the “environment”... What an IDIOT I was!!!! Blinded by convenience...and an ACTUAL God's honest trust that companies would never be allowed to sell poison to people for them and their families (especially babies) to bath with. What a fool I was...
After months of making and using my own products, I started sharing them along with my new found tree hugging philosophy. Everyone fell in love with my products including my online customers from the US to Asia and as far away as the Netherlands. I am soooooooo thankful for my angel on that bottle...she opened my eyes to a great big beautiful GREEN world, that I now pledge to do my part to protect.....

We started off with simple soaps, basic essential oils and organic ingredients.
