Bio

Mother and daughter jewelry team, Rita and Tess. We live four doors apart on the central Oregon Coast. We have different approaches to design but a great respect for each other's work. We just don't "see" the vision in the same way.

My day job is in design and also antiques. Her day job is working in a fused glass studio.

We are the caregivers for the patriarch of our clan, my dad 88. My daughter cares for her hubby and two girls, Athena and Cassie, and helps me out with dad. Her youngest daughter Cassie (Cassandra), is a paraplegic with Spina Bifida. She is hilarious, fun and very independent. She is obsessed with beads and jewelry. We are so very lucky, both our darling girls are girly girls and love what we do. Plus, we have something really fun we can do together!!

PS: Tess's birthday is May 5, Cinco de Mayo, she has always wanted to go to Mexico for her birthday since everyone would be celebrating.
