I have a vintage artsy-crafty supplies addiction. I love the stuff and can not get enough of it particularly vintage fabrics, trims and embellishments. As did my mother before me.
She was a designer of women's clothing and a creative person in anything to do with fabric and fiber. She also had a shop where she sold fabrics and trims.
Sooo- I come upon it naturally. Its in the blood.

Some of my items came from her shop which I closed up for her about 10 years ago.
When I think of all I just got rid of I cringe.
Much of my fabric, trims and embellishments comes from estate sales, lots of it is vintage.

I love"upcycling"/rescuing trims from vintage clothing or home decor items beyond repair- Just about all of my handmade trims are rescued though some were made and then never used. These beaded and sequined trims are one of a kind with limited yardage, hard to find and once it is gone there is no more in this universe as far as I know. LOL

I'm in the process of opening other etsy shops. I just have too much stuff to fit in one so be on the lookout for a new shop filled with buttons, beads, baubles, findings and other interesting items.
Vintage clothing along with my own jewelry and other creations will find its way into yet another shop.

And who knows, I might even open one for vintage housewares, linens and other pretty little things...
