Bio

I'm a freelance illustrator living and working in Baltimore, Maryland. I attended the Maryland Institute College of Art, where I received a BA degree in Illustration. Currently, I work for various publications such as Philadelphia Weekly, Baltimore City Paper, and the Stranger as an editorial illustrator. In addition to editorial work, I recently illustrated a set of trading cards for Chronicle Books.

Pop culture and politics play a large role in my subject matter. Icons of the past and present often appear in all forms of my art. Inspired by a mix of traditional fine art and comic book art, my influences include artists such as Charles Burns, Yuko Shimizu, and Franklin Booth.
