The Art Angel ~ Bethann Shannon Shoppe

Welcome!

I've decided to use my performance art name, "The Art Angel", for my ETSY Shop, since I am more public with this name.

Besides being an artist, I am a peace activist ~ performance artist. Since 1986, I have been running through the streets of several major cities wearing angel wings as a message for peace.

I am presently fundraising for a documentary called; MESSAGE ~ "We're All Writing This Story", where I will be running, dancing and walking across country, wearing my art angel wings and interviewing people along the way asking them:
1. What is peace to you?
2. Do you think we can have peace on earth?
If not, why not and if yes, what do we need to do?
3. If you could leave a message for the whole world to hear...what would your message be?

I will also be making art with people, strangers mostly, families and children. I believe ART WILL SAVE THE DAY! I believe LOVE WILL SAVE THE DAY!

My mission is to raise money to do this documentary and produce my play "ART ANGEL" off Broadway...this shop, with your purchase will help me manifest these projects for peace! SO ...Hip Hip Horray & THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

I'm a BIG believer in ART and self expression! Draw it! Paint it! Sculpt it! Write it! Dance it! Sing it! Let it out on a musical instument! I believe we need more creative outlets for all of our feelings, especially the difficult ones, like anger, fear and sorrow.

Luckily, here in America we still have that freedom! So, I encourage expressing yourself through ART, otherwise, it may come out in road rage, yelling at the wrong person, substance abuse or some other form of violence to yourself or others! Not a good idea!

We all get angry...ART is GREAT for anger management & giving that anger a creative outlet! I teach workshops that help people express & let go of some of this excess emotion in constructive ways through the arts! I believe if more people did art we would have more peace.

I use art to find inner peace in myself and part of that process is letting go of the negative stuff...it really helps!

PEACE BEGINS WITHIN!

Did that say "SPERM!?"...YES, it did...again, you may ask... sperm & angels? ODD? Or is it?

I believe we are all souls,(maybe even angels!) that choose to come down to earth to learn and grow. The souls or angels MUST go through the sperm process! And that's how I see it!

Sperm is LIFE! Sperm is SCIENCE! Sperm is CREATION! Sperm is how YOU & ME were made!

Sperm needs to be talked about more openly and not be a taboo subject anymore! We need to shatter the shame around sexuality and be more conscious and aware of all of our sexual decisions. On my web site www.mypetsperm.com , it is all about SAFE SEX. I celebrate sperm! And more awareness about safe sex is needed. I take this serious subject and teach it in a FUN way! I LOVE making & painting SPERM! To me, it's the CUTEST & funniest THING!
